The 2nd International Ocean Camp in Taiwan Part 2

Assalammualaikum and hi everyone.

Here the continuation of 2nd international ocean camp for part 2. Other places we were brought to visit are:

7)Yehliu Geopark

Yehliu Geopark is home to a number of unique geological formations including the iconic Queen's Head rock and is located along a cape stretching out from the town of Wanli. The stratum of Yehliu is mainly composed of sedimentary rocks. The formation of sea bays is due to the impact of sea erosion on softer rock layers while those hard and solid one turn into sea capes eventually

Besides the Queen's Head, other remarkable formations include Sea Candles, Fairy Shoe, Ginger Rocks, Elephant Rock, Ice Cream Rock, Kissing Rock, and Princess' Head.

Near with sea water.

The wind is very strong and its rainy.
I really fall in love with the amazing scenery of the sea and the rocks. During my visit, the weather was a little bit rainy and the wind is very strong. Thus, I could see the big waves from the sea. It was quite dangerous as we could fell slipped due to the weather but luckily we had uncle safeguarder that watches us and takes care of the area.

Beautiful scenery.

On the hillside.

8) National Museum of Marine Science & Technology

Next, we visited the Museum of marine science and technology. It more focuses on the technology that Taiwan used to predict the weather, fishes, shipping history and the development of their maritime industry.

9) Taipei 101

One of the best moments in Taiwan is that I got a chance to went up to the Taipei 101 observatory floor to see the Taipei city scenery. Taipei 101 is one of the ten tallest building in the world. We ride the lift that has maximum speed of 1010 m/min. It is the world's second-fastest elevator and ascends to the 89th floor. So, we just arrived on the observatory floor in 3 minutes only. We got to stare at the stunning cityscape from the outdoor observatory on the 91st floor while enjoying the fresh air. In the building, there is a massive gold-colored iron wind damper that keeps the tower stable through typhoons and earthquakes. In the basement is a decent food court and the first five floors are taken up by one of Taipei's swankiest malls.

Counter ticket of Taipei 101.
We bought the ticket online through KKday and then redeem the official ticket in the counter on the 5th floor. Then, we queue up and went to the elevator. The staffs are so friendly, they treat us nicely and fluently speak in English. The ticket only cost RM73 per person. The views are spectacular and worth all the money!

We got the ticket and free coupon.

Scenery from the above of Taipei 101.

They had World Record certificate for the fastest elevator in 2011.

Having Mango smoothies on top of the Taipei 101. It is so delicious.

It's already night. This is a hot-spot place to take pic in front of the tower.

I am glad that I can go up to the Taipei 101 skyscraper. The beautiful scenery had left a good memory for me. I really enjoyed the activities that were held in this camp.

Stay tuned for Part 3 of the 2nd International Ocean Camp in Taiwan. Thanks for reading!
